Measure the Window Width

Begin by measuring the width of your window from one edge of the window frame to the other.

Add Overhang

For a balanced look, we recommend adding an extra 4-6 inches on each side to ensure the curtains fully cover the window when closed. This will allow your curtain rod to extend beyond the window, giving the illusion of a larger window and providing better light control.
